Learning objectives
By the end of this training course, the participants will be able to:
- Explain the fundamental concepts and principles of an asset management system (AMS) based on ISO 55001
- Interpret the ISO 55001 requirements for an AMS from the perspective of an auditor
- Evaluate the AMS conformity to ISO 55001 requirements, in accordance with the fundamental audit concepts and principles
- Plan, conduct, and close an ISO 55001 compliance audit, in accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1 requirements, ISO 19011 guidelines, and other best practices in auditing
- Manage an ISO 55001 audit program
Educational approach
- PECB recommends scheduling two short breaks (15 minutes), and a lunch break (one hour) per training day. The time of the breaks can be adjusted accordingly.
- Participants are strongly encouraged to interact with one another, exchange ideas, and actively participate in discussions.
- The quiz structure within the course closely mirrors that of the certification exam, ensuring participants are well-prepared for the exam.

Prerequisites
